A price in Naftalan has two parts — the stay and the treatment; the treatment part is settled after the doctor has examined you.
In Naftalan a "price" is not one figure. The bill has two parts: the stay (room category, nights, how many of you) and the treatment (the procedures the doctor prescribes). The second is settled after the first examination, and that is where the final sum becomes clear.
What a package means
A package puts the room, the meals and the treatment course together. It usually includes the first examination and any tests needed, the daily procedures, full-board meals, the pools, the hammam and sauna; procedures outside the course, spa sessions, transfers and excursions are charged separately.
By length
- 7 nights — a short course for a first visit or a tight schedule.
- 10 nights — the length most often chosen; more procedures, room for a rest day.
- 14 nights — the classic sanatorium course, every block at full strength.
- 21 nights — a long programme, usually for chronic complaints and on a doctor's advice.
Roubles, tenge and manat
Every price is quoted in manat. If you budget in roubles or tenge, use your own bank's rate on the day you pay: there is no fixed "rouble price list", and a site showing one is simply converting at a rate of its own. Paying by card, your issuing bank handles the conversion.
