Treatment
The treatment houses in the town of Naftalan — all working over the same oil field, differing in their medical base, their list of procedures and their service.
A "Naftalan sanatorium" means a house in the town of Naftalan that builds its treatment on naftalan oil. There are several of them; all work over the same field, so the principal healing factor is the same everywhere.
Then where is the difference
Not in the oil, but in everything built around it:
- The medical base — which specialists are there (physician, neurologist, dermatologist, urologist, gynaecologist), whether the laboratory is on site.
- The list of procedures — baths only, or physiotherapy, massage, mud, the salt room and movement therapy as well.
- The kinds of bath — full, sitz, local, four-chamber; whether there is an alternative when the full bath is contraindicated.
- Rooms and meals — the room categories, whether the dietary table is drawn up with the doctors.
- The shape of the course — whether the schedule is individual or everyone gets the same package.
"Health centre" and "sanatorium"
The names "health centre" and "wellness centre" are used for the same thing. The name itself tells you nothing: what to look at is the medical staff, the list of procedures and how the course is put together.
How Sun City works

A course opens with an examination on arrival and the schedule is built around your results. About the hotel and all the treatments.
