Practical
What reviews can actually tell you, how much "rating" and "best of" lists are worth, and what to look at when choosing.
There is no shortage of reviews about Naftalan, but they are not worth the same. The figure alone says little: 9.2 out of 400 reviews and 9.2 out of 12 are not the same thing.
What a useful review looks like
- It has specifics — which procedure, which doctor, how many days.
- It says both what the guest liked and what they did not.
- The author has other reviews in their profile.
- The date is recent: a review from three years ago may describe a different hotel.
What to be wary of
A run of similar texts written on one day, the full official name repeated like an advertisement, generous praise with no detail in it, authors with exactly one review to their name.
"Ratings" and "best of" lists
Most "best sanatoriums in Naftalan" lists online are either paid placements or text copied between a handful of sites — nobody there checked the medical staff, the equipment or the number of treatments.
A sounder test
Look at four things: there is a doctor who works with your complaint, the treatment you need is on the list, what the price includes is written down, and recent reviews bear that out. The best sanatorium for you is the one that meets those four.
Our reviews page carries 98 guest reviews gathered from Google, Tripadvisor and Booking.com — all of them as written, with the date and the source shown.
