What is naftalan and how does the treatment work?

Naftalan is a unique therapeutic crude oil found only in the city of Naftalan, Azerbaijan. Warm oil baths, taken under medical supervision, are traditionally used to support joint, skin and circulatory health. Each course starts with a consultation with our chief physician.

How long should a treatment course last?

A typical course is 8–12 baths taken over 10–14 days. Shorter wellness stays are possible, but for lasting effect our physicians recommend at least one full course.

Are there any contraindications?

Yes — as with any medical procedure. On arrival every guest has a consultation and basic check-up; our physicians confirm your personal programme and adjust it where needed.

What is included in the room price?

Accommodation, open-buffet breakfast, use of the indoor pool, sauna and fitness room. Treatment packages additionally include the medical consultation, daily naftalan baths and supporting procedures.

Do you have a dietary menu?

Yes. Guests on a treatment programme receive a dedicated dietary table planned together with our physicians, served in the main restaurant.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00. Early check-in and late check-out are possible on request, subject to availability.
