Treatment
Treatment in the form of a course over several weeks, combining natural healing factors, a daily regime and procedures.
Sanatorium and resort treatment is a different genre from hospital care: the main instrument is not a drug but a natural factor, a daily regime and repeated procedures. The result accumulates over a whole course rather than in one session.
What a course consists of
An examination on arrival, tests where needed; then a daily schedule — a main procedure, one or two that support it, rest, a dietary table and movement. The standard length is 10 to 14 days.
What not to expect
A sanatorium does not replace your main treatment, and no resort can guarantee a cure. With chronic complaints the aim is usually less pain, a wider range of movement and a longer remission.
