Anti-cellulite body scrub

Body skin care that supports a smoother appearance.

An anti-cellulite body scrub is applied to care for the skin of the body and to support a smoother appearance. It gives its result from a course rather than a single session — planned together with anti-cellulite massage.

How the anti-cellulite scrub is applied

The scrub is applied to damp skin and worked over the problem areas — thighs, hips, abdomen — in circular, somewhat more intensive strokes. The direction runs upward, along the flow of the lymph. The mixture is then rinsed off with warm water and a moisturiser or anti-cellulite product is applied. Slight redness in the area afterwards is normal.

Why the scrub belongs in an anti-cellulite programme

Mechanical exfoliation clears the surface of the skin and at the same time increases blood flow to the area. The massage and the care products that follow work better on skin that has been prepared this way:

Preparing the skin, and what follows

  • The surface of the skin cleared
  • Faster circulation in the area
  • A smoother look to the skin
  • Preparation for anti-cellulite massage
  • Better absorption of care products
  • Improved skin tone
  • A feeling of lightness in the area

Varicose veins and other restrictions

Where varicose veins are pronounced, or the skin is damaged, broken or acutely inflamed, that area is left out; pregnancy is assessed separately. The procedure is not part of naftalan treatment but belongs to the aesthetic programmes, and it is not scheduled on a day with a naftalan application. The length of the course and the number of sessions are set at the first examination.

Anti-cellulite scrub in Naftalan — Sun City Hotel & Spa

The scrub is given in the hotel's spa area. The best results go to guests who build the course like this: the scrub, then anti-cellulite massage, with lymphatic drainage sessions in between — three treatments that complete one another. Drinking plenty of water after the scrub is advised — in programmes working on lymph flow it supports the result.

Frequently asked questions

The difference is in how it is applied: the anti-cellulite scrub is worked over the problem areas — thighs, hips, abdomen — in more intensive circular strokes, with the direction running along the flow of the lymph. A moisturiser or an anti-cellulite product is then applied.

Not from a single session. The scrub prepares the skin and increases blood flow to the area, but the main work is done by the anti-cellulite massage and lymphatic drainage that follow. The best results go to guests who plan all three as a course, on consecutive days.

Where varicose veins are pronounced that area is left out; damaged or broken skin and acute inflammation are restrictions too, and pregnancy is assessed separately. If you have a vascular diagnosis, tell the therapist before the session.

Drink plenty of water — in programmes working on lymph flow that supports the result. Slight redness in the area after the session is normal. Planning an anti-cellulite massage next is the most sensible order.

No, it is part of the aesthetic programmes and is booked separately. It is not scheduled on a naftalan application day, since the skin should rest first. On other days it fits easily into the course timetable — the spa desk aligns it with the physician's programme.

The length of the course and the number of sessions are set at the first examination — they depend on the area, the state of the skin and the starting point. If your stay is short, say so in advance so the treatments can be spread properly across the days available.
